Project Overview
Who is Somfy? Somfy is a gigantic French group in the technology industry, with offices across the globe, which acquired our client Myfox in 2016. Following the acquisition, we rushed to create a brand-new design for the upcoming star product Somfy Protect, for the famous Las Vegas CES 2017.
Based on our great collaboration with the Myfox team, Somfy asked us to assist them for the design and operations changes required. After months of efforts, we successfully delivered the new website on time, making Somfy Protect shine during the CES 2017.

We assisted the Somfy digital team regarding UX/UI and Magento development aspects to support their ambitious vision, in a tough and competitive technology Industry.
Our approach
“Less is more” was definitely a good motto for this project, as we had little time to rebrand every touch point with the Somfy identity. We therefore decided to break the process down in phases and tackle each phase in order of priority.
UX/UI Design
No need to complicate things. As the Somfy brand identity was well defined and concise, it was our base to revamp the website, and we added our expertise to optimize the user experience and polish the design.
Magento development
Rebranding was challenging in terms of front end development, as well as back end development, as we had to adapt custom features, develop new ones and integrate new third party features to match the needs of the Somfy team for both marketing and operational aspects.
